At Healing-Scents.com, we strongly believe in the benefits that come with the use of natural products with real ingredients.  We believe that God did not mean for us to use petroleum chemicals on our skin or in our body. We also believe that truly natural products are healthier and gentler on the body, thus providing better care for our overall health and wellness. 
 
Essential oils, herbs and other natural ingredients have been used and handed down from family member to family member for generations. 
 
We have, to the best of our ability, researched all of our ingredients, to ensure that they won't be harmful to you or your family members.  We are also members of the Environmental Working Group and have our products listed on the Cosmetic Safety Data Base.  We do still have to make the following disclaimers:
 
While many of the herbs, essential oils and other ingredients in our products are believed and documented to have healing virtues, they are not to be used to self-medicate or treat any form of physical or mental disease or health problem.
We do not recommend or endorse the use of these products as substitutes for licensed medical care.
Please consult your doctor or qualified health practitioner if you have any concerns and always consult your physician before changing a health regime.
 
Healing-Scents.com is not responsible for any individual reaction to any particular ingredient.  The Ingredients Listing page, or product description on our website includes a complete list of ingredients - please read them.  If you have sensitivity to any of the ingredients, please do NOT use the product.  If you do have sensitive skin, we always recommend a patch test and if irritation occurs, discontinue use of the product. Healing-Scents is a home-based business; and I start work at 7 a.m. Please understand that calling at that morning hour gets you a grumpy person. I do not always answer the telephone before 9 a.m. or after 5 p.m.
We try to keep business hours within the : 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. central time range. I have been working 45-60 hours per week. Help me not to burn out. (After 3, I am off to the post office to drop off packages.)
 
Healing-Scents offers quality natural hand made products.  These products include essential oils and offered at the lowest possible cost.
 
95% of our raw materials are cold-processed, wild-crafted, or organic.
Our essential oils are theraputic grade.
 
Healing Scents is a woman-owned business here in the United States. We are in Rockford Illinois in the central area of this wonderful country.
I am dedicated to providing products for you and your family that are pure and natural.  We make our products from scratch. I have created the recipes we use also. Bottles and jars are filled one at a time by hand. Please understand that we are dedicated to the best, most natural products we can make. If it doesn't work, we won't sell it. My life goal for my products:  If I would not give it to my Grandmas or Jesus; I won't sell it to you.
 
Our products DO NOT contain any petroleum-based chemicals.
This also means they are environmentally safe and healing.  Petroleum detergents are toxic pollutants and a non-renewable resource.
 
These chemicals are TOXIC and can cause long-lasting  problems to the environment as well as our health.  All of our products have ESSENTIAL OILS.
Essential Oils provide a balancing, soothing, healing aroma for your body, mind and spirit.
 
We strive to provide these all-natural handcrafted products at the lowest possible prices. To keep prices low, we use a simplified labeling arrangement and minimal or no colorants.
 
You can be assured that I try to find the safest, most natural ingredients to use.

I believe Jesus Christ died for our sins and we must accept the sacrifice to be saved.

I addition, I am a Pheressis Doner (white blood cells) and an 8 gallon whole blood donor.  I pheressis every 6-8 weeks to help others.
I take care of the plants at the Rescue Mission.
I am Worship Leader and occasional speaker for our house church--Abundant Grace Church, a congregation of Grace Communion Internations (www.gci.org).
